I know I put all the same pictures up on Facebook as I do on here but I'm not sure who sees and who doesn't... so in case you haven't, here's some of my beautiful family :)
The first semi-warm day to go outside (obviously not warm enough to go without their winter attire)
Waverly in her snowsuit that engulfs her :) London finally able to play in her car again... can you tell she's a little excited :)
Wavery eating sweet potatoes... this is the first thing she has enjoyed
Mommy and her girls!!
London wanted to be in Waverly's bathtub... they were too funny just splashing at each other the whole time!! So Waverly is everywhere just crawling and pulling herself up standing against the couch and everything. She's just amazing... must be wanting to keep up with London! However, she just does not have a desire to eat anything except her bottle. We finally tried the sweet potatoes today and that is the first thing that has gone over well. We're working on it! Oh, and the whole sleeping in her bed thing at night hasn't gone over very well either. The moment I turn my back to walk away she panics. It's really sad... however it's really sweet that she thinks she "needs" me so much. London was never really a lover, she still is so independent and she's good if I go away so it is really cute that Waverly likes to be held and just wants to see me sometimes :) The bed thing is really hard though because she has been sleeping in her swing every night because it's at an angle that keeps her head up some. She has a floppy airway that it's harder for her to breathe when she lays flat on her back so now she's just gotten so use to the swing. I think she gets scared in her bed because she does go on her back as she's rolling around and it makes her scared if she can't breathe as well. We'll try to figure something out. Right now... the swing it is! London is HILARIOUS!!! She repeats everything she hears and is putting words together and trying to make sentences. She is sooo smart. We've also been teaching her some sign language and she does it all the time. I'm so proud of her. She says please, thank you, more please, I love you (she tries) all in sign language. She does it without us telling her to do it too :) Man she is so smart I love it! She's learning to count, knows how to match shapes up, and we're working on her colors. She really enjoys learning. Right now things are finally slowing down for a moment. School has been so hectic and hard! My Anatomy and Physiology class is a killer... even though it may be my favorite. I learn so much... there is just sooo much information that it's just too hard to retain it all. Physics is foreign to me but somehow I'm doing really well in there. I just memorize formulas and plug in numbers. Calculus is pretty hard too... but the calculator does all the hard work thank goodness! It even graphs!! So now is the start of spring break and I'm hoping to get a jump on school before it starts back up again. Poor Dan has had a rough go of it lately. He had appendicitis Monday so we went to the hospital and he got it taken out that night (he's never even been to the hospital before as a patient). Then, we all (him, my mom, and me) got the 24 hour flu Thursday night - Friday. He hasn't even had time to recover from his surgery before being hammered with something else. But he got to miss a week of work and it's been pretty relaxing for him so that's good. Now hopefully things will settle down and we can go back to normal... whatever that may be. OK so that's my update probably for the next half a year :) |
